Goats were the first animals to be domesticated by man in 10,000 B.C. There are approximately 450 million goats around the world.

icon-eats They mainly like grass and hay. They will also eat some fruit and vegetables.
icon-lives Domestic goats can generally be found all around the world where they are kept as herd animals for their milk and/or their meat or their fibre.
icon-breeds The male goat is called a Billy and a female is a “nanny”. The baby goat is called “kid”. Giving birth is called “kidding”. We also have three new miniature pygmy goats who are super cute and friendly too!
icon-alert Our goats have a climbing frame which they love to use. It allows them to practise their climbing skills!
